Min visited to review SPS museum

Taking cognizance on the public complaint that SPS museum’s condition is deteriorating day by day, Minister for Works, Naeem Akhtar has visited the heritage depository in Rajbagh area to reviews its condition.

The Minister expressed dismay over the poor maintenance of the building and the lack of lavatory facilities there.

He asked the executing agency, the Police Housing Corporation to complete all pending construction works and repair the damage to the structure and interiors as soon as possible so that the Museum can be made fully functional.

The museum should get the eminence commensurate with the value of the treasure trove it houses including the religious scriptures, artefacts and other valuable cultural heritage. he assured that all the necessary measures would be taken to restore the glory of this prized depository.
