The Uttarakhand BJP celebrated its victory in the Delhi Assembly elections with great enthusiasm at the State BJP Office in Dehradun on Sunday. The celebrations, attended by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and state BJP President Mahendra Bhatt, marked the BJP’s first win in the Delhi Assembly elections in 26 years.
The occasion coincided with the Organisation Parv-2025 State Workshop, where CM Dhami addressed party workers and urged them to take the public welfare schemes of the BJP’s “double-engine government” to the grassroots. He attributed the victory to the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the tireless efforts of loyal BJP workers.
Leaders highlighted the party’s ability to deliver unprecedented development under its “double-engine government” model, which has gained trust and support across states. This approach, they said, is the reason for the BJP’s growing electoral success nationwide. The migrant Uttarakhandi community in Delhi was recognized for its significant contribution to the win, with many voting overwhelmingly for the BJP.
CM Dhami, who actively campaigned in Delhi, emphasized the disappointment felt by the people under the previous AAP government, which he claimed had failed to fulfill promises and deceived voters. He stated that the BJP’s victory reflects the resolve of the “God-like” people of Delhi to embrace progress and change.
Expressing confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, CM Dhami assured that Delhi would now embark on a path of rapid progress and set new benchmarks for governance and development. The victory has energized party workers in Uttarakhand, who pledged to work harder to fulfill the aspirations of the people.
This landmark triumph is being viewed as a mandate for development and a rejection of unfulfilled promises, signaling a new era of progress for the national capital.
