UK signs MoU with an NGO

Two MoUs were signed between the Hans Foundation and Uttarkhand Government in the presence of chief minister here in Dehradun on Friday. Under the MoU, a bus will be provided by the Hans Foundation for Shishu grah Balika Niketan, Almora. On behalf of the State Government, this MoU was signed by District Probation Officer Rajiv Nayan and Executive Director of Hans Foundation GB Rao.

Under the second MoU, accommodation will be made available to 8-10 inmates of Nari Niketan, Kedarupuram to bring them to the mainstream. The scheme is being launched as a pilot project. Director of Women Welfare Major Yogendra Yadav and CEO Hans Foundation Lt Gen SN Mehta signed MoU in this regard.

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that keeping the inmates with the society will improve their lives very quickly. They will also mentally consider himself a part of this society. He said that this is a very good initiative and it will play an important role for sisters living in Nari Niketan.
