UK carved out from UP due to Late Rajesh Pilot; Kishore

Former UK PCC President Kishore Upadhyay has categorically rejected BJP fake slogan that Vajpayee created state and now modi will nuture (vajpayee ne banaya ab modiji samwarenge) here in Dehradun today. he said that it was former union minsiter Rajesh Pilot had motivated the state agitationist because we had met him with a delegation led by late Indermani Badoni. thereafter he led the movement till he gets the uttarakhand.

now time has come to assess the decision of separate state from Uttar Pradesh. To assess the state condition since its inception state intellectuals are going to convene a seminar titled ‘Uttarakhand vimarsh-kya khoya kya paya’ on November 1 here in dehradun. Talking to media Upadhyay said that uttarakhand is going to complete 18 years on November 9 because it was carved out from uttar Pradesh on November 9, 2000. To assess the state’s situation that do we achieve separate state’s objective or not?

Explaining about the speakers, Upadhyay said that noted journalist Harish Lakhera would make their presentation about the state whether it has achieved objective or not. he reiterated that state was formed due to consistent efforts of the state people, who made their sacrifice to get it.

Condemning the BJP slogan, which they had coined during assembly election, that former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had carved out the Uttarakhand and now state would be nurtured by the PM Modi. But in reality it was Late Pilot who had motivated the state agitationist and now we are seeing uttarakhand.

Justifying the statement, he further said that a delegation led by Late Indermani Badoni met then union minister Pilot and apprise him about the demand of separate state. Then he had said that you people are demanding separate state but there is no seriousness on it. Several states are facing separate state movement but their movement are very much active and getting media coverage too but there is no such coverage coming out from Uttarakhand.  That particular statement had ignited the mind of the state supporters and they continued their movement till they get separate state.

Now state is going to complete 18 years on Nov 9 so it is our duty to assess the state’s situation. During the workshop speakers from all walk of life and political parties have been invited to make the assessment. He said that currently state is being ruled by double engine government but still lagging behind.
