Following on the advice of prime minister Narendra Modi, President Ramnath Kovind Has allocated portfolios among the following members of union council of ministers on sunday.

 

Dharmendra Pradhan has been given charge of  Petroleum & Natural Gas and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship; Piyush Goyal has been given charge of Railways and Coal; Nirmala Sitharaman has been made Defence Minister, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has been given charge of Minority Affairs;

Raj Kumar Singh has been given Independent Charge of Power, New and Renewable Energy; Hardeep Singh Puri has been given charge Independent Charge of the Housing and Urban Affairs; Alphons Kannanthanam has been given Independent Charge of Tourism,Electronics and Information Technology; Shiv Pratap Shukla has been given charge of Finance; Ashwini Kumar Choubey has been given charge of Health and Family Welfare; Anant kumar Hegde has been given charge of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship; Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has been given charge of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare; Dr. Virendra Kumar has been given charge Women and Child Development and Minority Affairs;

 

 

Prime Minister  Narendra Modi is also in-charge of: Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions; Department of Atomic Energy; Department of Space; all important policy issues; and all other portfolios not allocated to any Minister.
