President has allocated portfolios to Mins and MoS

Following on the advice of prime minister Narendra Modi, President Ramnath Kovind Has allocated portfolios among the following members of union council of ministers on sunday.

Dharmendra Pradhan has been given charge of  Petroleum & Natural Gas and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship; Piyush Goyal has been given charge of Railways and Coal; Nirmala Sitharaman has been made Defence Minister, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has been given charge of Minority Affairs;

Raj Kumar Singh has been given Independent Charge of Power, New and Renewable Energy; Hardeep Singh Puri has been given charge Independent Charge of the Housing and Urban Affairs; Alphons Kannanthanam has been given Independent Charge of Tourism,Electronics and Information Technology; Shiv Pratap Shukla has been given charge of Finance; Ashwini Kumar Choubey has been given charge of Health and Family Welfare; Anant kumar Hegde has been given charge of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship; Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has been given charge of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare; Dr. Virendra Kumar has been given charge Women and Child Development and Minority Affairs;

Prime Minister  Narendra Modi is also in-charge of: Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions; Department of Atomic Energy; Department of Space; all important policy issues; and all other portfolios not allocated to any Minister.

Raj Nath Singh is union minister for home affairs;  Sushma Swaraj is Minister of External Affairs; Arun Jaitley would look after Finance and Corporate affairs; Nitin Jairam Gadkari would be Minister of Road Transport and Highways; Minister of Shipping and Minister of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation; Suresh Prabhu is incharge of commerce and Industry; DV Sadananda Gowda has been given Statistics and Programme Implementation; Uma Bharti has been given charge of Drinking water and sanitation; Ramvilas Paswan has been given charge of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution; Maneka Sanjay Gandhi has been given charge of Women and Child Development; Ananth Kumar has been given charge of Chemicals & Fertilizers and Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs; Ravi Shankar Prasad is incharge of Law and Justice and Minister of Electronics and Information Technology; Jagat Prakash Nadda would continue as Minister of Health and Family Welfare.

Ashok Gajapathi Raju Pusapati is incharge of Civil Aviation, Anant Geete is incharge of Heavy industry and Public enterprises; Harsimrat Kaur Badal is incharge of Food Processing Industries; Narendra Singh Tomar is incharge of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Mines;

Chaudhary Birender Singh is incharge of Minsiter of Steel, Jual Oram is minister of Tribal Affairs; Radha Mohan Singh is incharge of Agriculture and Farmers welfare; Thaawar Chand Gehlot is Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment; Smriti Zubin Irani is minister of Textiles; and Information and Broadcasting; Dr Harsh Vardhan is Minister of Science and Technology,
