5 selected from Uttarakhand to represent India at World Badminton Championship

Uttarakhand State Badminton Association secretary BS Mankoty said that the junior number one player Lakshya Sen will lead the Indian team in the World Badminton Championships in Indonesia from October 9 to 22. In this, Dhruv Rawat, Unnati Bisht, Aditi Bhatt and Sneha Razvar from Uttarakhand have been selected in the Indian Badminton Team.

Secretary said that Unanti Bisht is training with Badminton coach Deepak Rawat in Dehradun and Hyderabad . Dhruv Rawat is the country’s number one player in the Under-17 singles. Aditi Bhatt is seventh in the U-15 singles and sixth in the doubles competition. All selected players will participate in the National Camp, organized from September 17 to October 5 in Bangalore. Currently all players are participating in the State Badminton Championship running in Dehradun.
