Urban development minsiter terminated all political appointment

Following the instruction of urban development minister Madan Kaushik, the state urban development department has terminated the terms of   all  the nominated  members of municipal corporations,  municipality councils and other local bodies with immediate effect on Saturday.Soon after officially assuming charge, the newly appointed urban development minister had convened a review meeting of the department officials on late Friday  evening during which the  decision was  taken.
