49 UK jawans wud receive award on RD

The state police have released the names of 49 police officers and personnel on Saturday who would be awarded for their distinguished service on the occasion of Republic Day-2017. Two police officers- Uttam Singh Jimiwal, in-charge inspector, Kotdwar police station in Pauri district and Chandrabhan Singh Adhikari, in-charge inspector, police station Gagnahar in Haridwar district- will be awarded with the Governor’s Commendable Service Medals on the occasion.

 

Jagdish Chandra Pathak, DSP, Udham Singh Nagar; Mahesh Chandra Chandola inspector (M), PTC, Narendranagar; Prem Singh Mehta sub-inspector vigilance headquarters and Kheem Singh Rana, PC (special category) from 46th Battalion will be awarded with Governor’s excellent service award for their distinguished services.

 

DGP MA Ganapathy on his part will award 42 police officers with commendable service medal for their outstanding services at police headquarters on the occasion of Republic Day. Five police officers would also be awarded with excellent service honour medal for their distinguish service at police headquarters during the same occasion. They are Virendra Dutt Uniyal inspector, Dehradun; Kamal Singh Panwar, inspector, Almora; Mohan Giri, sub-inspector, Haridwar; Pratap Singh, head constable, IRB-I Ramnagar; Hari Singh head constable, IRB-II and Kunwar Pal constable, vigilance headquarter.

Ashutosh Kumar, constable based in Dehradun will also be awarded with excellent service hounour medal. Besides, 22 police officers will be awarded with commendable service honour medal. They are Kranti Ballabh Pandey, assistant commandant, 46 Battalion PAC, Rudrapur; Vijay Thapa, DSP, Nainital; Surendra Prasad, inspector, PHQ; Kundan Lal, SDRF; Bhagwan Ram Chanyal, PHQ, Dehradun; Shyam Dutt inspector, Intelligence Tehri; Ram Singh Mehta, inspector civil police Nainital; Mahesh Singh inspector (m) PHQ; Rajendra Singh, sub-inspector, Dehradun; Jawahar Singh, sub-inspector Haridwar and Ratan Mani Semwal, platoon commander, 46th PAC, Rudrapur; Vijay Lakshmi Juyal, assistant sub-inspector (m), PHQ; Kullo Singh, sub-inspector (special category), Dehradun; Ranvir Singh, head constable, 40th battalion PAC Haridwar; Shiv Prasad, head constable, STF, Uttarakhand; Manmohan Singh, head constable, Chamoli; Dinesh Chandra, head constable, Haridwar; Naresh Lal, head constable, PTC, Narendranagar; Charan Das Babra, head constable, Uttarkashi; Jagdish Ram, head constable, special category, Bageshwar; Shravan Kumar, 31st Battalion PAC, Rudrapur and Chitra Singh, constable, 40th Battalion, PAC, Rudrapur.
