Option open says Rohit Shekhar

DAINIK NATION BUREAU

After meeting with BJP national president Amit Shah, Ex CM ND Tiwari’s son Rohit Shekhar has categorically said that party has not cleared their stand so their options are open. With this comment he has shown his immaturity and making his position weak, say BJP leaders on condition of anonymity.

AS we know that TIwari along with his son Rohit Shekhar and wife Ujjwala Sharma met Shah in Delhi on January 18 and since then it was being presumed that BJP would field Rohit from one of the three vacant seats of Nainital District when they would announce their six remaining seat. Although they have not made their remaining list public so Rohit’s patience is running out.

Although former chief minister and Udhamsinghngar Bhagat Singh Koshyari alias Bhagatda had said that it is true that BJP president met Tiwariji but it does not mean that he has joined BJP. Ironically he further said that if media continue to put pressure then he may get ticket from BJP. Following on the development Union Minister and Almora MP Ajay Tamta said that TIwari is very senior leader and he met party president. It is known to everyone that he is being misused by someone.

Although BJP has not opened his card so fara which is why it is being presumed that he may be considered. Sources said that BJP alliance partner Shiv Sena has condemned the meeting and said that it is same BJP which had created hue and cry when sex scandal resurfaced while Tiwari was governor of Andhra Pradesh and now on what ground they have been hugging the same leader.

Talking to media. Rohit said that he wanted ticket from Lalkuan but BJP has already declared their candidate from the seat. As we know that after assembly election-2002 when congress formed state government then CM ND TIwari had contested by poll from Ramnagar assembly constituency. Being an MLA he had served the constituency so he has its control in KUmaon.

Seeing his aura, BJP had tried to come closer to Tiwari but now they have been keeping themselves away from Tiwari because that move may go against him.

Although Rohit says that his father has served the Uttar PRdesh and Uttarakhand as chief minister so he wants bigger role for his father in party. Seemingly frustrated Rohit may address media shortly to clear his frustration which has been increasing after meeting with Amit shah.

The 91-year-old former Tiwari does not active politically active but he wants his son Rohit to settle politically.  His meeting with Shah was construed by many as a step in this regard.
