Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed their officials to take strict action against negligent government servants. If he or she not ready to work properly then send them for mandatory VRS. You also take stringent action against land encroachers and food adulteration and power theft. These directions were issued during a high-level meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence on Friday.
The Chief Minister emphasized identifying government employees who fail to perform their duties effectively. He instructed officials to initiate proceedings for their compulsory retirement under the applicable rules. Additionally, he ordered strict action against land encroachers, including those occupying government and private land across the state.
CM Dhami has called for special campaigns to arrest wanted criminals involved in various offenses. To tackle drug-related crimes, he directed police officials to conduct intensive inspections in border areas and prepare a list of offenders under the NDPS Act for stringent action. The Chief Minister reaffirmed his commitment to a Drugs-Free Uttarakhand, urging continuous enforcement efforts by all concerned departments.
With the festival season approaching, CM Dhami ordered an intensive campaign against food adulteration and power theft. Authorities have been instructed to take strict legal action against those involved in these illegal activities to ensure public health and prevent electricity losses.
The DGP has been directed to enhance traffic management across Uttarakhand, ensuring smooth movement and preventing unnecessary jams. The police will also increase night patrolling for improved law and order.
Additionally, the Chief Minister stressed the need to connect youth with employment and promote skill development in trades like electrician, carpenter, barber, and plumber, aiming to boost self-employment opportunities.
