Uttarakhand will boost air connectivity with major cities of the country in the upcoming New Year. From Pantnagar Airport, Spice Jet and IndiGo flights will fly to other states. With this facility, not only will passengers be able to complete the flight in a short time, but connectivity other metros of the country will also be enhanced. Pantnagar Airport officials have been mobilized for this. After the formation of the state, SIDCUL was established, then companies of foreign countries were established here, but the facility of railway and road and air service could not be improved.
Railway facilities are not sufficient for cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad. Due to this, people have a lot of difficulty in traveling. In order to improve the air service, under the ‘Ude Desh ka Har Nagrik‘ scheme, preparations are being made to fly Spice Jet and Indigo flights from here in Phase 2. For this, two meetings have already been done and the runway is also being expanded. The final meeting will be held in December for the implementation. This flight is of 82 seats. Spicejet and Indigo aircraft will fly from Pantnagar to Delhi, Kanpur. After this, Mumbai connectivity will increase from here. How many days a week both flights will operate will be decided in the December meeting.
