High school and intermediate examinations of Uttarakhand board will start from the first week of March 2019. Officials of the Education Board have started preparations for the examinations as soon as the list of government holidays came from the government. Considering the election of the Lok Sabha, the board officials had doubts about the exam date.
This time, 14,992 students in high school and 124867 students in the intermediate have registered. Board examinations had started from March 5 last year. At the appointed time, the Education Board had also released the result. Looking ahead to the Lok Sabha elections from February to March, the Education Department was in confusion over the timing of examinations.
On the basis of the election, the CBSE Board has announced to conduct examinations in February. After this, Uttarakhand Board Joint Secretary Brij Mohan Rawat said that the government has received a list of government holidays. Now, when the examinations are to be done, the situation has become clear about it. He said that the board examinations in the state will be conducted from the first week of March. The meeting of the examination committee will be held in January. The test date will be announced in the first week of January. He told that the number of exam centers is 1309. In March, 948 teachers have been selected for conducting practical examinations.
