Snowfall in mountains decreases temperature across Uttarakhand

After the snowfall in the high hills of the Himalayas, including Kedarnath, the cold wave has increased in the entire district. At all places including the headquarters, there was cloudy sky throughout the afternoon, which resulted in people getting cold. Two-inch new ice has accumulated in Kedarnath.
Due to the changing weather for two days the effect of cold has increased. On Kedarnath Dham on Tuesday, light snowfall took place from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm, due to which there has been more chilliness. Even in the high hills of Madhameshwar and Tungnath, there is a slight snowfall. In the lower areas of the headquarters including the headquarters, there was cloudy sky in after noon, bringing down the temperature.
