CM pays floral tribute to Patel

On the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, Chief Minister  Trivendra Singh Rawat visited the Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Park Clock Tower at Dehradun and paid rich tributes to Sardar Patel by garlanding his portrait.

Along with this, Chief Minister participated in the “Run For Unity” rally. Chief Minister said that today Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has unveiled the grand statue of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, which is the tallest statue in the world, whose height is 182 meters. Sardar Patel contributed immensely in the freedom struggle and played an important role in maintaining the unity and integrity of the country post Independence. After the Independence of India, without even a drop of blood being shed and without any gun shots being fired, Sardar Patel ensured that 550 princely states became a part of free India. With the special efforts of Hon’ble Prime Minister, today the entire country is remembering Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel.
