Justice Ramesh Ranganathan to be appointed new Chief Justice of Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand’s new Chief Justice will now be Ramesh Ranganathan. Justice Ranganathan is currently the senior judge of the Hyderabad High Court. At the same time, Justice VK Bisht of Uttarakhand High Court has been appointed as Chief Justice of the Sikkim High Court.
The Supreme Court Collegium had made their recommendation. Now the government will give its approval before their appointment. Recently, Additional Justice Sharad Kumar Sharma also took oath as a permanent judge of the Uttarakhand High Court. Acting Chief Justice Rajiv Sharma administered him oath of office and secrecy.
