In a bid to welcome students Himgiri Zee University organised Freshers 2018. Its title was “Parichay”. Event started by Vice Chancellor Prof. Rakesh Ranjan lighting the lamp. In his opening speech he motivated students to enhance their skills be sincere towards their education thus enabling the country to progress further. He also asked students to maintain cleanliness in and around them.
New entrants participated in Ramp walk. Students danced on the folk music of Garhwal, Nortn East, Asaam etc. Students were decorated with the tag of Mr. Fresher and Ms. Fresher.
Registrar Dr. D K Ambstaa, Chief finance Officer Anter Deep Singh, Administrative officer Vishnu Mathur were present on the occasion along with all department heads and faculty members.
Event was made successful by Rakesh Arya, Suchita Gera, Ankita Uniyal and Priyanka Goswami.
