IAS Pankaj Pandey gets no relief from High Court in NH 74 scam case

In the NH 74 land compensation scam case, IAS Dr Pankaj Kumar Pandey could not get relief from the High Court. Judge Justice Sharad Sharma refused to hear the anticipatory bail petition in the court.

In this case, petition was filed on behalf of Pankaj Pandey. The court refused to listen to the petition and referred the case to the other bench. Now, tomorrow, the case will be heard in the second batch of the high court.

Pandey filed a petition and prayed for anticipatory bail on the arrest. Recently, the government suspended Dr Pandey former DM Chandramesh Yadav of Udham Singh Nagar. Investigating the scandal, the SIT has sought permission from the government for running prosecution against both the officers.
