CM reviews implementation of his announcment in US Nagar

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat reviewed the progress of announcements made in all the assembly constituencies of the district Udham Singh Nagar through video conferencing at Secretariat on Saturday. Cabinet Minister Madan Kaushik, Yashpal Arya, Arvind Pandey, MLA Rajkumar Thukral, Saurabh Bahuguna, Rajesh Shukla, Pushkar Singh Dhami, Dr Prem Singh, Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh and other senior officials of the government and through video conferencing all the District Magistrates and all District Administration were present.

Work on master plan of different cities underway

It was informed in the meeting that the proceedings on the master plan for the well planned development of Rudrapur, Kashipur, Jaspur, Kichha, Khatima, Bajpur, Sitarganj and Gadarpur are on. In the first phase, the work order has been issued by selecting the firm for the GSI based base mapping survey.

Inquiry ordered by the Chief Minister

Taking cognizance of the poor quality of different construction works in Sitarganj area on the complaint of Sitarganj MLA Saurabh Bahuguna, CM issued directions to investigate the matter. Shakti farm in Sitarganj and at other places in the state, the adequate number of 108 Ambulance services will be started, while adding that at present the work is going on at a fast pace on the ambulance service. Chief Minister gave orders to the District Magistrate to study the reasons behind the 100 per cent Hepatitis affected villages of Kankata and Chandanagar of Gadarpur. He also took cognizance of the drinking water system of the said villages. Chief Minister ordered an immediate investigation of the matter on the complaint of no road construction work being done from Chhatarpur to Bindumoda by UPRNN and disbursal of Rs. 6 crore. Chief Minister said that it should be considered to get all the construction works be undertaken by local agencies, Public Works Department, etc instead of UPRNN.

Chief Minister takes note of the condition of the hospitals

Chief Minister took the updated information about the condition of hospitals in the district, the number of patients in wake of the monsoon season, adequate supply of medicines, snake bite cases and supply of anti-venom medicines from the District Magistrate Udham Singh Nagar. Chief Minister issued instructions that in wake of the rainy season, the medical system should remain active and alert.

Special emphasis on protection and development of Vanrawat tribe: Chief Minister Trivendra

Chief Minister said that people of the Vanrawat tribe living in Khatima and surrounding forest areas should be benefited by the government’s welfare schemes and basic amenities and also their culture should also be protected. He said that in this direction, the government and administration will have to pay special attention. Chief Minister talked of strengthening forest rights of the tribal’s. Chief Minister instructed to hold a meeting in this regard soon.

Cluster based trenching ground for garbage disposal

It was informed in the meeting that for the disposal of the garbage at eight places including Rudrapur, Kashipur, Bhimtal and Bhawali and nearby cities, trenching grounds will be constructed.

Proceedings on construction works underway

It was informed in the meeting that proceedings on fast pace on various construction works in the district are on and most of the works will be completed by June 2019. Construction of the Lohia Nullah route between village Bari Anjaniya in Khatima and Tadaghat, re-construction work of the route connecting Kutra Chairahe to Alvidi and construction work of the route from the school in village Chatia Farm to Shiv Temple will be completed by June 2019. Construction work of Jagatpura part in Rudrapur, construction of CC route Chattarpur and Dharampur, construction of CC route in Ward Number 5 Kheda of Rudrapur and construction of CC route in village Rampura is under progress. The work of reconstruction of route from Ranjitnagar to Govind Nagar in Shaktifarm Rudrapur in Sitarangj will be completed till March 2019. The construction of the Tharu Tribe Vikas Bhavan in Nanakmatta will be completed in two phases. Work to develop Nanakmatta as a tourist circuit is underway.

Proposals received

Proposal for the beautification of the Lalkothi Shardhaghat temple in Khatima and Bharamal temple has been received and soon a government order will be issued. Proposal of a degree college in Kichha has been sent by the District Magistrate to the government. Approval for the widening and beautification of the route from Aditya Chowk to DD Chowk in Kiccha upto Darau roundabout at a cost of Rs 4.96 crore will be through within a month.  Government order for the widening of the route from Gaba Chowk to DD Chowk upto Teen Paani in Rudrapur at a cost of Rs 3.82 crores and road construction work from Shivnagar to Transit Camp in Rudrapur, would be issued soon. Proposals for the construction of Devipur-Gyanpur Gaudi road in Nanakmatta, Lamakheda bridge construction in Nanakmatta, bridge construction work at Khakra Nullah near village Chemipatshahi Gurudwara and Pahsoni-Lamakheda Khakra Nullah, will get approval in two months time. Approval on the proposals for the construction of CC route and drains in Khatima on behalf of Devbhoomi Dharamsala and road concretization from Lalit Bora in Jhankat in Khatima and Shishu Mandit towards Highway, will get approval within a month.
