BCCI to hold meeting to oversee the cricket activities in UK

Uttarakhand Chief Minister  Trivendra Singh Rawat met Prof. Ratnakar Shetty, Rahul Johri and Rachit Mehrotra of BCCI at Chief Minister’s residence here on Monday. The BCCI members informed that a meeting of the consensus committee to oversee the organization of cricket activities in the state will be held on Tuesday. They said that in the next one year talent will be scouted in each district of the state. The state government will be provided all help to nurture young talent.

Chief Minister said that there is passion for cricket amongst the youth of the state and there is need to bring out talent. He said that cricketers from the state can earn fame at the national and international level in cricket. He hoped that a right platform and coaches will be made available. The state government will provide all help to BCCI to bring out talent. He appealed to all the cricket association to come on one platform for the betterment of future of cricket in Uttarakhand so that the state gets full affiliation of the BCCI.
