On the other hand, one has died due to falling lightning strike in the Lalkuan region of Nainital district.

On the other hand, there is a major incident of cloudburst after the heavy rain in Chamoli district. It is believed that the cloud burst occurred in Chai village late on Thursday night. This has caused huge damage to the cattle, fields and roads. There is also information about the death of many animals. After the incident of cloudburst, the drain coming out of the hill above the village has been divided into three parts. Thereby avoiding a big accident. There has been a panic in the people since this incident. There is no loss of life in this incident. At present, the team of Revenue and Animal Husbandry Department has reached the spot and they are denying the incident of cloudburst.
Death of one due to lightning strike
Umed Singh Ex-serviceman of Indira Nagar resident of Bindukhata died due to the lightning strike. Actually, the weather was bad since morning. The 55-year-old had gone outside to remove animals from his fields. He was struck by lightning while outside, which led to his death on the spot. The police reached the spot and sent the body for the post-mortem.
