Ganga impure bcoz it getting polluted at Gomukh

Uttarakhand Chief Minister  Trivendra Rawat said that introspection was the trait that would take us to the peak of progress.  When there is good governance, self-discipline, self-contemplation then only we can get positive results.  Everybody is aware of truth and good governance, but it should be seen within and not in others. Self-introspection was must on regular basis. He expressed these views while addressing at the “Civil Sewa Diwas” program organized by Forest department, held at Manthan Auditorium, Dehradun on Saturday.

Their government was committed towards corruption free administration. The government was clear on the issue of corruption and if any person is caught indulging in corruption then he would not be spared. He said that for good governance if there is a need to change any decision the government will not hesitate in doing that. State government has taken many important decisions in past one year.

 The Chief Minister said that initiative is being taken similar to the lines of Bihar government where action has been taken against a senior level officer by creating a separate wing for controlling crime in the state. He said that our team has also gone to Bihar in this regard. The state government is trying to bring good officers in forefront.  He said that if we are able to control the flow of corruption then a new Ganga of good governance will flow in the state.

Mentioning Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, the CM said that administrative officers have been termed as Steel frame of India. If Gaumukh is pious then we can imagine that the Ganga will remain holy till Ganga Sagar. If the source is pure then we can imagine of purity and for which we have to make our conduct pure.

He also administered oath to the officials to work for conserving and saving the earth on the occasion. PPCF Jairaj, MD SIDCUL Saujanya, DM Dehradun SA Murugeshan, Additional Secretary Forest Dheeraj Pandey, IG Ajay Anshuman, Forest conservator, research Sanjay Chaturvedi and other senior forest officials were present.
