A delegation of doctors from California, USA met Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh at secretariat on Friday.
It was told that doctors from USA after conducting a free plastic surgery camp for a week are returning back to their country. The free plastic surgery camp was organised by research international in which the patients were given free medicines and medical equipment. The camp is a bi-annual and was organised in Dehradun. The free surgery camp was held at Dr Yogi Helping Hand Centre from March, 26 in Dehradun. Out of 197 patients, plastic surgeries were performed on 87 patients. The next camp will be organised in December. The Chief Secretary appreciated the efforts and termed it as life changing experience.
