Taking cognizance on the PIL, which was filed by the Advocate Rajiv Bisht, about parking problem in Nainital, Uttarakhand High Court has asked the district administration to appeal the tourist not to come Nainital by their own vehicle. Instead of private vehicle you come by public transport. To publicise this appeal you give advertisement in four national dailies and appealed them if you wish to visit Nainital by their own vehicle then make arrangement of parking.
HC has pronounced this order while hearing a Public interest Litigation (PIL). Court has instructed district administration to inform the tourist about the parking problem in advance. You ask them to before entering into Nainital with your vehicle you must make an arrangement of parking in advance.
HC has also asked them to complete the laying of OFC cable work in private and defence sector by April 17. PIL petitioner Advocate Rajiv Bisht said that he had raised several issues and the issues are yet to be addressed. He tried to withdraw the PIL but court rejected it. As far as Hawker zone is concerned then court has asked the district administration to identify the place by april 18. Hearing petition about parking at Flates ground, court asked the district administration to park the vehicle on certain radius only.
