Yash Birla Group Chairman Yashovardhan Birla met the Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat here in Dehradun on Wednesday. During the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of investment in Uttarakhand in the field of education, health, Ayush, Ayurved Panchakarma and industries. The CM shri Trivendra assured the Yash Birla Group that action will be taken quickly on the proposals given by Yash Birla groups. The CM also directed the departmental officials to take action on these proposals.

The CM said that arrangements of land can also be made for the establishment of industries based on local products of hilly region in the state. Along with the establishment of Ayurveda Panchakarma in Rishikesh and Dehradun, establishment of hospital in Swarg Ashram, Gangotri and Yamunotri the CM seeks their cooperation in the reconstruction of Kedarnath through the Kedarnath Utthan Trust. There was abundance of organic products along with medicinal plants in hilly areas of Uttarakhand. If such industries based on local products will be set up in these areas, the financial condition of the local people will be strengthened..

Yashovardhan Birla said that he is always ready to serve Uttarakhand. He also expressed his desire to set up the herbal, food processing and tools industry in Uttarakhand. He believed that the environment of Uttarakhand is favorable to the industries. He informed that he was planning to adopt 30 schools of Uttarakhand.
