Trivendra Singh Rawat cabinet has decided to raise women protection unit at district level as part of woman empowerment. Besides it cabinet has taken decisions on seven more issues. Although no official briefing was made because vidhan sabha session is schedule to begin by December 7 was made today.

Talking to media-person outside the venue, State government’s spokesperson and cabinet minister Madan Kaushik said that 11 issues were presented before the cabinet but only eight issues have approved and remaining three were rejected. He refused to make any further comment on it because vidhan sabha session is already declared.
Sources said that now onward no stamp duty on indira awas yojna, government would give grant upto Rs five lakh for community radio. cabinet has also approved urban development authority (UDA) reorganisation. cabinet has also decided to constitute protection unit for women at district level and the unit will address only woman complaint. cabinet has also approved rule of public service commission and ease the promotion rule of Rural Engineering Service (RES)
