PM Modi Distributes Appointment Letters to 51,000 Youths including 215 from Uttarakhand

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today virtually distributed appointment letters to around 51,000 newly selected candidates across 40 locations in the country under the ongoing Rozgar Mela initiative.

In Uttarakhand, a job fair was organized at the Survey of India auditorium in Dehradun, where Shashi Shalini Kujur, Chief Postmaster General of the Uttarakhand Postal Circle, graced the event as the chief guest.

During the ceremony, appointment letters were handed over to 215 selected youths from various government sectors. These included 59 appointments in the Postal Department as Postal Assistants and Postmen, 14 in the Railways, 81 in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), 19 in the State Bank of India (SBI), 41 in the Tehri Hydro Development Corporation Limited (THDC), and one appointment in the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Sirmaur.

In her address Chief Postmaster General Kujur congratulated the newly appointed candidates and wished them a bright future. She said the Rozgar Mela reflects the Prime Minister’s firm commitment to giving top priority to employment generation and empowering the youth of the nation.

Also present on the occasion were Anusuya Prasad Chamola, Director Postal Services, Uttarakhand Circle; Anil Kumar Saini, Chief Welfare Officer, Railways; Arvind Khanduri, Assistant Commandant, ITBP;  Rajiv Kumar Singh, Chief Manager, State Bank of India; and Jharna Dalai, HR Officer, THDC, along with other officers and employees of the Postal Department.
