Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, along with Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and spiritual leader Sadhvi Ritambhara have inaugurated the Vatsalya Ganga Ashray in Haridwar today. It has been dedicated to help destitute and abandoned daughters. It will provide shelter, education, and a dignified life to vulnerable girls.

After the inauguration ceremony, CM Dhami sought blessings from revered saints and spiritual leaders present at the event. He also offered prayers to the holy Ganga river, wishing for the prosperity, happiness, and well-being of the people of Uttarakhand. The spiritual and cultural vibrancy of the event reflected the core values of Sanatan Dharma and the state’s deep-rooted spiritual legacy.

In his address CM Dhami lauded Sadhvi Ritambhara’s tireless efforts in transforming the lives of countless daughters through her selfless service and commitment. He said the Vatsalya Ganga Ashray project is a living example of how compassion and action can bring about meaningful change in society.

The Chief Minister reiterated his government’s unwavering commitment to preserving and promoting Sanatan culture, in line with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He emphasized that Uttarakhand, Devbhoomi, will not tolerate any attempts to distort its spiritual and cultural identity. Strict action is being taken against threats such as land jihad, love jihad, and spit jihad to maintain harmony and uphold the state’s sacred heritage.

The event was marked by spiritual fervor, collective prayers, and a strong reaffirmation of the government’s resolve to protect its cultural roots while working for the welfare of its citizens, especially the vulnerable sections of society.
