In view of the upcoming Char Dham Yatra, the Tehri Police conducted a thorough ground inspection of key locations on the Yatra route to ensure smooth and safe arrangements for pilgrims. The inspection was led by Additional Superintendent of Police J.R. Joshi on Friday, focusing on Muni Ki Reti and Bhadrakali — important points along the pilgrimage route.
The police team closely reviewed traffic management systems, Char Dham Yatra registration centers, and overall security arrangements. ASP Joshi instructed all concerned officials to maintain strict vigilance and leave no room for negligence in the arrangements.
Special emphasis was placed on traffic flow, ensuring that pilgrims would not face congestion or inconvenience during the Yatra season. To improve road guidance for devotees, the police also installed new road signage at several critical points along the Yatra route.
The inspection aimed to address possible challenges in advance and make the Char Dham Yatra experience hassle-free and safe for pilgrims. The administration and police are working in close coordination to enhance facilities, streamline registration processes, and ensure effective traffic control throughout the Yatra period, reflecting the state’s commitment to a smooth and well-organized pilgrimage season.
