On the occasion of completing three years in office, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami interacted with journalists at Mukhya Sevak Sadan, CM residence, and highlighted the achievements of his government while outlining future priorities.

The Chief Minister reaffirmed his commitment to tackling corruption, encroachment, and illegal occupations. He stated that despite facing multiple challenges over the last three years, the government remained steadfast in its resolve. “Uttarakhand is progressing in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, and this decade will belong to Uttarakhand,” he said.
Referring to various disasters from Raini and Silkyara to Kedar Valley and Mana, the CM emphasized that his government has always responded proactively in times of crisis. He reiterated that Uttarakhand is working diligently to contribute to PM Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047. He also highlighted ongoing efforts to expand connectivity and enhance the state’s infrastructure.
The CM underscored the government’s initiatives, including the Lakhpati Didi scheme and 30% reservation for women. He mentioned the 10% horizontal reservation for agitators and efforts to reconnect migrants with the state.
He noted that Uttarakhand ranking 13th nationwide in per capita income is a positive sign. Events like the Global Investors Summit and G-20 meetings have had long-term benefits for the state. The state’s top ranking in the Sustainable Development Goals index was another significant achievement.
CM Dhami also spoke about preparations for the 2027 Kumbh Mela and Nanda Raj Jat, emphasizing their cultural and religious significance. He highlighted the successful hosting of the National Games and credited PM Modi’s visits for boosting tourism, including the Char Dham Yatra and Winter Yatra.
Concluding his address, he said that Uttarakhand, despite challenges, is on the right path toward growth and prosperity.
