 The 38th National Games Mascot, ‘Mouli’ visits at the Chief Minister’s residence after the conclusion of the prestigious event. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami personally welcomed Mouli, acknowledging its role in making the games a nationwide sensation. It would be pertinent to mention here that Uttarakhand has won 103 medal in it.

Mouli was widely celebrated across Uttarakhand, drawing attention to the state’s rich biodiversity and cultural heritage. The mascot’s enthusiastic presence throughout the event captured hearts, creating a deep connection with athletes and spectators alike.

The 38th National Games marked a historic moment for Uttarakhand, branding it as ‘Devbhoomi, Veerbhoomi, and Sports Land.’ Under CM Dhami’s leadership and the implementation of a progressive sports policy, the state witnessed a remarkable performance, securing 103 medals and finishing in the top seven states—an extraordinary leap from its 25th position in the previous edition.

Additionally, the event stood out for its eco-friendly initiatives, earning the distinction of “Green Games.” Medals were crafted from e-waste, and saplings were planted in honor of medal-winning athletes, reinforcing Uttarakhand’s commitment to sustainability.

The success of the 38th National Games has placed Uttarakhand firmly on India’s sporting map, inspiring future generations while promoting the state’s natural and cultural heritage.
