Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has expressed his grief at the martyrdom of Chandrika Prasad, a soldier who died while fighting militants in Pulwama district of Jammu & Kashmir today.
Chandrika Prasad hailed from Khatima in Udham Singh Nagar district. CM prayed to the almighty for the peace of the departed soul and grant of patience to the bereaved family to bear the loss.
Chief Minister said that we are proud of the brave soldier who sacrificed his life defending the country. He further conveyed his heartfelt sympathies with the family of the martyr. State government will provide all possible help to the family of the martyred soldier. “The entire state stands with the family of the martyred soldier in this hour of grief,” he said.
