Gang rape victim did not divulge to her parent during vacation

GRD world school, Bhauwala’s class Xth student, who had allegedly become pregnant after gang rape by her seniors on August 14, did not disclose this incident to her parent when she had gone on leave during Rakshabandhan festival. This was disclosed by Sahaspur police station incharge Naresh Singh Rathore on Wednesday.

He further said that her statement has recorded before magistrate on Wednesday and even her medical examination has been conducted done but its report awaited. Management are inhuman because instead of lodging FIR they took her to a private nursing home for abortion. Even they forced her to consume oral pill for termination of her pregnancy. To misguide the doctor, they had taken a couple and introduced them as her parent. Meanwhile her biological parent came along with police and matter disclosed otherwise they would have wiped out all the evidence.

According to SHO Rathore, school management puts undue pressure on her. It can be imagined that she along with her sister had gone on leave during Rakshabandhan but she did not divulge this to her parent. After returning from the holiday her period skipped so she discussed this with her seniors. Initially they grilled her sarcastically and then she disclosed them that during independence day celeberation preparation her senior, student of class XII, asked her that teacher is calling you in store so she went there then they overpowered her and gang raped her. She had informed the incident to her caretaker and later principal but they asked her to keep mum. They also threatened that if she discloses to anyone then they would terminate from school and would not pursue her study further.

It would be pertinent to mention here that as the information reached then Dehradun SSP Nivedita Kukreti sent Sahaspur SHO Rathore to the school. During investigation it revealed that after the gang rape victim was being pressurised by the management. So far police has arrested nine persons including four allegedly rapist and other fives were arrested with an allegation that they tried to cover up the matter by threatening the hapless victim. After the incident the victim, who was shocked with the incident, could not divulge the incident to anyone even her parent. When her condition deteriorated then she disclosed the gang rape incident to the school management. Ironically her sister is also student of the same school and studying in junior class.

Ironically one out of four rape accused turned adult so court sent him into jail. Although he tried to hide his date of birth by giving wrong DoB..
