Sec Information made surprise visit to info directorate

Secretary, Information Dilip Jawalkar inspected the Information Directorate on Monday.

After inspecting all the sections, he instructed that all the records should be well maintained and the records of the advertisement section should be properly maintained. He also directed that information technology should be used and emphasized on developing online system so that all the working of the department should be made paperless. After inspecting the library, he instructed that it should be better maintained with computers having development information about Uttarakhand which could be used by research scholars, students and general public.

Secretary, Information also reviewed the work of Uttarakhand Film Development Council. He instructed the officials that the permission for shooting of films should be done through single window system. He asked for starting the system of giving permission to shoot films in the state through online and for this all the nodal departments should be linked online. Secretary, Information said that tree plantation drive should be done on the vacant land of the department.  He also instructed for maintaining cleanliness in the department and daily cleaning of wash rooms.  Additional Director Dr. Anil Chandola, Joint Director Rajesh Kumar, Assistant Director K.S.Chauhan, officials and employees were present on the occasion.
