CM meets Mukesh Ambani

As part of campaign to lure investors ahead of “Destination Uttarakhand- Investors Summit”, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat met the Managing Director of Reliance Industries Mukesh Ambani in Mumbai on Wednesday. They discussed the possibilities of investment in Uttarakhand. Ambani expressed special interest in the field of digital Uttarakhand, organic farming and hospitality.

While giving a proposal for support in digital Uttarakhand, Amabani said that mobile and Internet Connectivity can be given in every region of Uttarakhand through Jio. He proposed to connect state schools and health centers with Internet Connectivity and expressed willingness for his support in the storage and cold storage facility of organic products.

Ambani said that Uttarakhand is a unique gift of nature. Its beauty is even more than that of Switzerland. It only needs to be brought before the world. Uttarakhand can be developed as the best destination for tourism. He also expressed his desire to invest in the field of tourism and hospitality.

In Uttarakhand, there is great potential for organic vegetables and herbal products. For this, he also offered to support in developing the back end chain. The operations of the Reliance Foundation will be expanded in the state. On the request of the Chief Minister, he spoke of extending support in the development of Sri Badrinath on the lines of Sri Kedarnath.
