CM distributes HNN 24*7 education excellence awards

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat that the news channels work as a bridge for the exchange of information between the public and the government. Uttarakhand is a small hill state, in which there are many such areas which are very remote and inaccessible. In this way the role of the media becomes very important. He distributed the “HNN 24×7 Education Excellence Awards Uttarakhand 2018” on Tuesday. Among those, who received the award included DIT; Tulaj International, Doon Group of Colleges, Shivalik College of Ayurveda, Social Baluni Public School etc. On this occasion Chief Minister congratulated HNN News Channels and educational institutes receiving award. It is commendable that HNN channel is honouring all the educational institutions, which are doing special work in their respective fields. This will also inspire other institutions.

Chief Minister said  He said that the media should keep in mind that the news is based on facts. It should be seen that pilgrims and tourists visiting the Char Dham Yatra should get the correct information available in the state. After the Kedarnath disaster, there has been a lot of change in the situation today. Our tourists are reaching remote areas of Uttarakhand. Tourism will play an important role in Uttarakhand’s economy in the future. Chief Minister said that the state government has taken some steps to attract the film industry, due to which the film industry is also getting attracted towards Uttarakhand today. In the recent past, many films have been shot in Uttarakhand. Chief Minister also talked about the news channels extending their support to the state government in propagating about the beauty, art and culture of Uttarakhand.

On this occasion, representatives of HNN Vineet Sharma, Management Director, HNN Amit Sharma and representatives of various educational institutions were present on the occasion.
