State to organise communal harmony campaign week

Following on the instruction of union government, uttarakhand government has decided to organise  communal harmony campaign week between November 19 to 25. they would celebrate flag day on November 24. An order, signed by principal Secretary Home Anand Vardhan, has been sent to all the Additional chief secretaries, DGP and head of departments (HoD), commissioners, Divisional head, district magistrates today.

During the campaign government would organise painting and debate competition in school and colleges so that children would get exposure of communal harmony.
