CBI lodged case against Ryan International school

Following on the recommendation of Haryana government, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has lodged a case in connection with the murder of a seven-year-old student in Ryan International School, Gurugram on Friday.

A notification regarding the murder of Pradyuman Thakur was received by the CBI on Friday.

The CBI took over the investigation of the case, which was lodged on September 8 at Bhondsi police station of Gurugram, under Section 302 of the IPC, 25 of Arms Act, 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and 75 of Juvenile Justice (JJ) Act.

A day before Ryan International School trustees had approached high for seeking stay on this case but the Punjab and Haryana High Court refused to stay the arrests of Ryan International School trustees in this case. Now next hearing is due on September 25.
