In a bid to facilitate the freedom fighter, state has government has decided to allow free boarding to the assistant of the freedom fighter and widows of late freedom fighters too in the Volvo buses run by Uttarakhand Government .
According to the directions of CM Trivendra Singh Rawat, Principal Secretary Shri Anand Vardhan has issued an order in this regard by issuing a press note. Vardhan informed that free transport facility in the Volvo buses run by Uttarakhand Government will be provided to the freedom fighters and widows of late freedom fighters with an assistant on the basis of issued identity card by DM/ADM. He apprised that letter has been dispatched to the Managing Director Uttarakhand Transport Corporation in this context.
