CS reviewed preparation for PM’s visit

In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Dehradun visit to attend the swearing in of the new chief minister on Saturday, Uttarakhand chief secretary S Ramaswamy held a meeting with the senior officers on Thursday to take stock of the preparations for the same.  It is learnt that on his arrival at the Dehradun Airport, PM will be welcomed by Governor Dr KK Paul, chief secretary S Ramaswamy and director general of police MA Ganapathy among others. PM would board a special helicopter that would fetch him at GTC helipad. From the helipad, he would drive to the Parade Ground via some roads.  A contingency plan has been discussed in details in course of the high- level meeting with CS in the chair.
