Patanjali deny encroachment of land

The Patanjali Food and Herbal Park – Padartha authorities have stressed that an effort to remove an encroachment on the park’s land is being misrepresented to stir up communal lines in view of the Vidhan Sabha election 2017.

In an official statement released on Monday, the Patanjali food park administration stressed that thousands of local youth including a considerable number from the Muslim community have secured employment in the park with respect being accorded to all religions. “A local named Mukarram has encroached on land of Patanjali Ayurved Limited. Today when officials of the Patanjali Ayurved Limited attempted to convince Mukarram to evict the encroached land, he began using objectionable language and started verbally abusing them. After this Mukarram and some of his friends together also attempted to occupy more land. Considering the election time in the state, Mukarram and his friends are trying to give a communal angle to this incident. To maintain communal harmony and establish peaceful atmosphere, officials of the Patanjali Ayurved Limited have informed the administration about this incident. The Patanjali family expects that the district administration will side by justice with complete impartiality and take swift action in this case,” states the official release.
