Cong suspended 26 rebel

Taking cognizance on the dissident congress leaders, who have been contesting election against the congress candidate despite congress high command intervention, state congress has suspended 26 congress workers including Aryendra Sharma and Eunuch Rajni Rawat for six years on Thursday.

 

As per the PCC chief spokesman Mathura Datt Joshi, the PCC president Kishore Upadhyay has stressed that discipline should be maintained by all the part y workers and leaders. Stringent action will be taken against whosoever crosses the line of party discipline to the detriment to the party.

Their names are Aryendra Sharma, Lakshman Singh Negi, Naveen Bisht against Suryakant Dhasmana from Dehradun Cant, Haji Noor Hasan, Kinner Rajni Rawat, Ram Singh Kaida against Dan Singh Bhandari from Bhimtaal, Gopal Chamoli, Murarilal Khandwal, Vijaypal Singh Rawat, Jitendra Tiwari, Brijrani, Ravish Bhatija, KL Arya against sitting MLA Sarita Arya from Nainital, Harendra Singh Bora against MLA Harish Chandra Durgapal from Lalkuan, Devkinandan Shah, Renu Bisht against Shailendra Singh Rawat from Yamkeshwar, Kuber Singh Kathayat against sitting MLA Madan Singh Bisht from Dwarhaat, TC Bharati and Sarika Pradhan.
