Showtime Women’s Hub launched

Save Girl Child Foundation, a Dehradun based NGO launched their cultural segment ‘Showtime Women’s Hub’ here in Dehradun.

The Chief Guest on the occasion was Former State Civil Aviation Minister Uttarakhand Government Prof. Vishal Dobhal. He has also been a Wildcard entry for Big Boss Season 9.

Showtime Women’s Hub will be a center of social, intellectual, cultural, entertainment and business activities. It will be managed by 8 panel members. Its key focus is women empowerment said Vandana Sehgal throwing light on her new initiative.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest Vishal Dobhal said, “It is heartening to know that SWH is working towards economic and social welfare of women. I am certain that it will raise the quality of women’s life and promote education. I wish them all the best in their endeavor to inspire women to showcase their talent.”

The launch was marked by Lohri celebrations. The show was hosted by Anchor Gravit and Siddharth.A scintillating dance performance by Dehradun based dance studio- Vibrations was much appreciated. The audience also enjoyed several games and held a discussion on the role of Save Girl Child Foundation in women’s lives.

Emphasizing on the objectives of SWH, Director Showtime Women’s Hub Shival Sehgal said that they will promote women to pick up business. He added, “We will provide business funding’s to those facing monetary issues and every now and then introduce scholarship programs.”

Also present on the occasion were Director Showtime Women’s Hub Shival Sehgal, Chairperson Save Girl Child Foundation Vandana Sehgal, Commitee Head Sahiba Jain, Meenakshi Malik, Rachna Jain Commitee Panel Members Indu Tyagi, Meetu Narula, Simran Ayubi and Bhawna Sharma. Other guests present were Roma Kukreja, Radhika, Renu Arora and Pooja Bedi.
