Cong submits reply on EC notice: Joshi

Taking cognizance on the notice of election commission on unemployment allowance card, congress party has submitted their reply to EC on Sunday. ON February 11, EC had served notice to congress party on unemployment allowance card and asked that why not we seize your all election campaign material with immediate effect.

 

Congress chief spokesperson Mathura Dutt Joshi has said that we have submitted reply of party to election commission on Saturday late evening but EC said that they received the reploy at 10 am on Sunday. IN which state congress vice president Jot Singh Bisht said that party has not conducted any such activity i.e. registration of unemployment allowance card through social media. Such activity may have been done by some sympathiser or group. He aassured the EC that if any such practice has happened then their party would stop them to do such activity.

 

CHIef electoral officer (CEO) Radha Raturi said that EC has already banned disbursement of  unemployment allowance card  and also taking legal action against such activity. As far as the online registration for the card is concerned then DGP has already taken action on it and stopped the website with immediate effect.

IG and state police nodal officer Election Deepam Seth said that following on the direction of Dehradun DM, CDO Dehradun has already registd case under IT act on February 11. Its investigation has been given to Inspecto Bharat Singh. Meanwhile we have stopped registration for the card by writing a letter to the websit company namely GODADDY.COM.
