The Uttarakhand government has suspended the Additional District Magistrate Tirthpal of Rudraprayag in the famous NH-74 land compensation case of Udham Singh Nagar. He is associated with the Office of Revenue Council. So far, eight PCS officers have been suspended in this case.
On Wednesday, Principal Secretary (Personnel) Radha Rautudi ordered this. TheNH-74 scam involves four tehsils of Udham Singh Nagar in Bajpur, Sitarganj, Kashipur and Kichha. There has been a scam of more than 300 crore. After getting concrete evidence of the scandal, the government suspended Tirthpal. He was posted as Additional District Magistrate in Rudraprayag. During the suspension, the PCS officers will get only half of the salary.
