Honda city falls into Sharda canal; two passengers dead

On the Lalkothi-Dhanushpul road, an uncontrolled Honda City car fell into the Sharda Canal. Two people, including a car driver, died. Both the deceased were found to be resident of Banbasa in Champawat district.

The incident occurred day before yesterday. People saw a car (UAE 06 0111) submerged in the Sharda Canal. Police arrived at the spot on the information. After this the car was pulled out of the canal. Out of this, the bodies of two passengers, were found.

Police officer BL Madhwal told that the youth was identified as Mayank alias Angad (22 years old) son Sabir Ali resident of Banbasa, while the teenager was identified as the daughter of Rajendra Pal. Police said that the teenager’s body was on the driver’s seat.
