President Kovind paid obisience to Lord shiva at Kedarnath

President Ramnath Kovind along with his family visited the Kedarnath shrine with family on Sunday. Due to inclement weather it was being presumed that he might have to stay for another days to improve weather but he finally succeeded to visit Kedarnath.

Governor of Uttarakhand Dr KK Paul and Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat also visited the Kedarnath with President. President arrived at the Kedarnath helipad by army helicopter at 7:56 am and travelled the Kedarpuri through ATV vehicle.

Later president offered worship at the temple. Temple Committee presented traditional prasad Rot and sweet dish Arsa in a basket made of Ringal to the President.

Garhwal Commissioner  Dilip Jawalkar, DIG Pushpak Jyoti, DM Mangesh Ghildiyal were present on the occasion
