The BJP has stepped up its preparations for the visit of the party’s national president Amit Shah, who is slated to visit Dehradun, for the first time after the BJP was elected to govern the state. While visiting Haldwani on Tuesday, the Bhatt said that all the district heads and office bearers of the party in the state are being sent invitations to be present during the visit of the party’s national president who is slated to visit Dehradun on September 19-20. He further said that the BJP workers are enthusiastically looking forwarded to the visit of the party’s national president to the state. While talking to the media persons here, the BJP state president further informed that during his visit to Uttarakhand, the BJP national president Amit Shah will review the works of the state government and the party organisation. He also also deliberate upon the local body elections and the Lok Sabha elections. On being asked about the tiff between members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and party MLA, Bhatt said that the ABVP was not a part of the BJP but an ancillary organisation.
