The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) is going to recruit for around 2100 youth by the end of December 2024. This has become possible as Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has categorically asked all the commission to expedite the recruitment process and ensure timely job placements too.
The recruitment drive, which is aimed at filling Group C level positions, has already seen significant progress this year. UKSSSC has successfully completed the selection process for over 4000 posts in 2024. The Commission is now in the final stages of processing recruitments for four major categories, including LT (Licentiate Teacher), vehicle drivers, graduate-level posts in various departments, and the Forest Development Corporation Scaler Examination.
Recruitments Nearing Completion
Commission Chairman GS Martolia provided updates, stating that the written examinations for these positions have been completed, and the process of certificate verification and final result preparation is underway. The Commission is expected to make its final selection recommendations to the concerned departments by December. This will ensure that 1544 LT posts, 200 scaler posts, 34 driver posts, and approximately 300 graduate-level positions are filled before the year ends.
Martolia emphasized that UKSSSC is working diligently to ensure that the youth receive their job placements as soon as possible.
Future Recruitments on the Horizon
In addition to the ongoing recruitment process, the Commission has also outlined the examination schedule for 17 departments. These include several crucial positions, and the recruitment calendar has been publicly released to maintain transparency and efficiency. Advertisements for these recruitments are being issued in phases, with the exam dates now set, further solidifying the state’s commitment to creating employment opportunities.
Chief Minister Dhami expressed satisfaction with the Commission’s progress, stating, “Government recruitments are not only being completed in a transparent manner, but the recruitment timeline is also being strictly adhered to. We are setting records for completing recruitments in a single year.”
As the state gears up for a busy final quarter, Uttarakhand’s youth are set to benefit from the accelerated efforts of the recruitment commission, bringing much-needed job opportunities to the region.
