17 year old girl impregnated by her step father in andhra pradesh

DAINIK NATION BUREAU : A 42-year-old man was arrested on Friday for allegedly impregnating his 17-year-old stepdaughter in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool district. The man, identified as P. Srinivasulu, was also accused of sexually assaulting the girl’s younger sister, who is 15 years old.

The police said that the girls’ mother had died a few years ago, and their father had remarried. Srinivasulu had been living with the family for the past few years.

The elder sister told the police that Srinivasulu had been sexually abusing her for the past few months. She said that she had tried to tell her father about the abuse, but he had not believed her. The younger sister told the police that Srinivasulu had also sexually assaulted her on a few occasions.

The police said that they had arrested Srinivasulu on the basis of the girls’ statements. He has been charged with rape, sexual assault, and other relevant offences. The case has been registered at the Chennur police station in Kurnool district. The police are further investigating the matter.

As we know that to check the crime against minor, union government has passed POCSO (protection of children from sexual offence, Police says once the investigation progressed then they may booked the accused under POCSO act too. Meanwhile police is investigating the case and waiting for medical report.
