IAF’s Gagan Shakti exercise begins in UK

Indian Air Force has started their Gagan Shakti exercise in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. Although they kept media away from this exercise but sound of aircraft and army activities have made people more inquisitive through out the day.

Although IAF was doing their preparation for the exercise in chinyalisaur air stip and Harshil halipad. on Tuesday people awaken with the sound of aircraft, which had started by 6 am. They have been doing this exercise to establish better coordination between Army and Air force.

Even they have been practising about how much deep they can land nearby international border. As we know that Uttarakhand shares international boundaries with china and Nepal.

Ahead of this exercise IAF had established air traffic control system at Harshil helipad. On Tuesday IAF Chopper lifted huge number of army commandoes from helipad and dropped at different destinations
like what they usually do during war. They dropped bulk of the commandos at Chinyalisaur air strip and then they were taken to pithoragarh via AN 32 aircraft. Even Sukhoi was flown into the uttarakhand air for more than one hour.
